Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Food & Beverage Cost Controller to join our team in Bahrain. This role involves managing and optimizing all aspects of cost control within the F&B department to maximize profitability and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality finance and proven experience with inventory and cost management.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for closely monitoring food and beverage costs, preparing comprehensive cost reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. You will perform regular inventory audits and stock checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.

Additional duties include verifying purchase orders, invoices, and all store transactions. Accurately calculating recipe costs and setting appropriate menu pricing will be fundamental tasks. You will also analyze wastage, consumption, and variance reports to identify any areas for improvement.

Collaboration with the kitchen and purchasing teams is essential for maintaining efficient operations. Ensuring proper stock rotation using FIFO methods and enforcing portion control along with standard recipe adherence are key aspects of this role. You will support budgeting efforts and participate in cost forecasting to help drive business decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should hold a degree or diploma in Hospitality, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in food and beverage cost control is required. Proficiency in inventory management and cost control systems is essential to succeed in this position.

Strong skills in Excel and the ability to generate detailed reports are critical. The role demands exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities to effectively manage and reduce costs.
