Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented accountant to join our team in Bahrain. This role requires managing daily financial activities, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in accounting software and have a solid understanding of VAT and bookkeeping practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions accurately and timely
• Prepare invoices and receipts for clients and vendors
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash balances
• Compile financial reports for management review
• Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
• Assist in payroll processing to ensure timely salary payments
• Calculate and file VAT returns in compliance with regulations
• Monitor expenses and budgets to support financial planning

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Fundamental accounting knowledge and bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, TallyPrime, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail to avoid errors and discrepancies
• Effective communication skills for coordination and reporting
• Good time management abilities to meet deadlines
• Understanding of VAT rules and compliance requirements
