Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join a reputable contracting company in Bahrain. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial processes related to various projects, ensuring accurate cost tracking, and maintaining effective communication with contractors and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and record expenses associated with multiple projects to ensure accurate cost control.
• Review contractors’ invoices thoroughly for accuracy and completeness, and approve payment requests accordingly.
• Handle processing of invoices, purchase orders, and requisitions in a timely manner.
• Examine and validate expense reports and employee timecards.
• Investigate and resolve any invoice or billing discrepancies with contractors to maintain smooth financial operations.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and present them to management as requested.

Requirements

• Must be currently residing in Bahrain and available for immediate employment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze financial documents accurately.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and experience working in project-based financial environments is preferred.
