Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant or Accounts Manager to lead our finance department. The ideal candidate will bring between 5 to 8 years of accounting expertise and will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial management, tax compliance, and overseeing all bookkeeping functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and maintain accurate ledgers, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded and reconciled promptly.
• Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns following local regulations to maintain compliance.
• Handle issuance and management of credit and debit notes to keep accounts receivable and payable in order.
• Produce detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for management.
• Supervise daily finance department operations, refine accounting procedures, and uphold internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CA are highly desirable.
• Proven experience of 5 to 8 years in accounting roles with increasing responsibility, preferably with managerial experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with VAT filing, bookkeeping, and preparation of financial reports.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
