Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent Internal Auditor to join our team, focusing on enhancing corporate governance and audit operations for a group holding company and its subsidiaries in Bahrain. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and reliability of internal audit processes, contributing to the organization’s overall operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing corporate governance practices at the group level and conducting independent audits and consulting activities that add value and improve business functions. You will systematically evaluate and enhance governance processes, ensure compliance with company policies, and monitor for any fraudulent activities across group, subsidiary, and associate levels.

Additional duties include verifying system processes and related documentation, developing an annual comprehensive audit plan covering all subsidiaries, reporting system weaknesses along with recommended corrective actions to the Managing Director, and assisting management in focusing audit efforts effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Auditing from a reputable university.
• 1-2 years of audit experience preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in internal auditing within a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to write detailed reports and present findings clearly.
• Analytical skills to identify system controls and assess factory performance metrics.
• IT competency certification is a plus.
• Ability to work within the specified schedule: Saturday to Wednesday from 8 AM to 5 PM and Thursday from 8 AM to 1:30 PM.
