Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Accountant with a strong background in managing financial records within the construction sector. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience working in the GCC, preferably currently based in Bahrain, and possess hands-on knowledge in accounting processes tailored for construction companies.

Key Responsibilities

The role primarily involves handling accounts and financial documentation, including invoicing, VAT processing, payroll management, petty cash handling, and maintaining accurate bookkeeping records. Additionally, the accountant will be responsible for coordinating with clients and suppliers to ensure smooth financial operations.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant GCC experience, with preference given to candidates already working in Bahrain
• Strong familiarity with accounting for construction companies and related documentation
• Proficiency in Tally, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting software
• Comprehensive understanding of invoicing, VAT, payroll, petty cash, and bookkeeping procedures
• Good command of English for effective communication
• Ability to liaise efficiently with clients and suppliers
