We are seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant proficient in speaking, reading, and writing Chinese to join our team. This role is vital to maintaining smooth office operations and providing comprehensive clerical support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling communication, managing schedules, organizing documents, and ensuring efficient administrative workflows.

Key Responsibilities

The Administrative Assistant will be instrumental in supporting daily office functions by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments. Effective communication is crucial, as the role involves answering calls, responding to emails and mail, greeting visitors, and liaising between staff and clients. Additional tasks include preparing and proofreading reports, presentations, and correspondence to maintain professionalism and accuracy.

Office management duties include maintaining both physical and digital filing systems, ordering and managing office supplies, and organizing records. Coordinating travel arrangements such as flights, hotel bookings, and itineraries also falls under this role. Moreover, the assistant will handle data entry, invoice processing, and may assist with basic bookkeeping or expense reporting when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Fluency in Chinese language—speaking, reading, and writing—is essential.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with email and scheduling software.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to multitask effectively.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to facilitate clear and professional interactions.

Work Details and Compensation

This position requires an 8-hour workday. The salary offered is BHD 150.000 plus a BHD 50.000 allowance. The employer will provide the visa for the successful candidate.
