We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Assistant Accountant to join our expanding team in Bahrain. This role offers an excellent chance to develop your accounting skills while supporting daily financial operations within a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for accurately recording and maintaining financial transactions. Key duties include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements and company accounts, and preparing essential accounting documents such as invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries. The successful candidate will also assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing procedures, help prepare financial reports and management accounts, and ensure proper documentation and filing of all accounting records. Additional administrative and accounting tasks may be assigned by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Ideally, candidates will have one to two years of relevant accounting experience. Proficiency in Tally ERP software along with Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools is essential. The role demands strong numerical aptitude, analytical capabilities, and excellent organizational skills. Effective communication skills in English are also important for this position.
