We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to join our team located in Sitra, Bahrain. This position supports a small-scale manufacturing company, where accuracy and strict adherence to financial policies are essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining precise financial records, generating comprehensive reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and VAT regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will handle critical financial duties to support the company’s accounting operations, including:

• Maintaining accurate day-to-day financial records to ensure consistent bookkeeping.
• Managing invoices, quotations, and payment requests with efficiency.
• Assisting with asset audits and monitoring compliance measures to protect company assets.
• Contributing to system improvements to optimize financial tracking and reporting processes.
• Ensuring full transparency and correctness in all financial documentation and reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent credential in Accounting or Finance.
• A solid understanding of accounting principles and accepted practices.
• Experience working with VAT compliance and relevant financial documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, along with accounting software familiarity.
• Strong organizational abilities and effective communication skills to manage various financial responsibilities.
