Job Overview

Mark & Save Hypermarket, part of the Western International Group, is seeking a dedicated Chilled & Dairy Supervisor for its Ajman location. This role plays a crucial part in overseeing the operations within the chilled, frozen, and dairy sections, ensuring quality, safety, and efficient stock management. The position reports directly to management and involves close coordination with suppliers and warehouse teams to maintain seamless daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

The supervisor will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards in the chilled and dairy sections, with duties including:

• Overseeing all activities related to chilled, frozen, and dairy products to ensure smooth workflow
• Monitoring storage temperatures and guaranteeing adherence to food safety regulations
• Managing stock receiving processes, ensuring accurate FIFO rotation and conducting regular inventory counts
• Controlling shrinkage and minimizing product loss through effective supervision
• Training, guiding, and supervising the team to maintain productivity and compliance
• Collaborating closely with suppliers, warehouse staff, and dispatch teams to coordinate timely deliveries and stock replenishment

Required Skills and Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Experience in retail management, food technology, supply chain operations, or hospitality sectors preferred
• Strong understanding of cold chain management and inventory control processes to maintain product integrity
• Basic proficiency with computer applications such as MS Excel and POS systems to handle stock management and reporting
• Ability to work comfortably in cold storage environments, ensuring compliance and personal safety
• Physical capability to safely handle loads between 15-20 kilograms as required by the role

Work Environment

This position is based at Mark & Save Hypermarket in Ajman, UAE. The role requires working in refrigerated and chilled storage areas, adhering to safety protocols while maintaining product standards. The work environment involves active teamwork, timely problem-solving, and ongoing communication with multiple departments and external partners.
