Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to lead the finance operations of a reputable food manufacturing and trading company based in Ajman, UAE. This role requires a commercially focused professional with a solid background in corporate finance and hands-on experience in managing financial activities aligned with business objectives.

The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience working within corporate environments, preferably in industries such as Food Manufacturing, FMCG, Trading, Distribution, or Consumer Goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all finance functions including financial reporting, management information systems (MIS), budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Implement strong financial controls and ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as VAT and Corporate Tax regulations in the UAE.
• Lead financial analysis related to manufacturing costs, inventory management, and working capital optimization.
• Drive cost control initiatives and support commercial business partnering efforts to improve profitability.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Collaborate with various departments to align financial strategies with organizational goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum 10-15 years of post-qualification experience, with a strong preference for candidates with 8-10 years in corporate finance roles rather than audit firms.
• Familiarity with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP platforms.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax frameworks, audit processes, and statutory compliance standards.
• Expertise in product costing, inventory control, and managing working capital effectively within a manufacturing or trading environment.
• Proven leadership abilities with the capability to manage and motivate finance teams.
• Strong analytical skills combined with commercial awareness to support cost optimization and business decision-making.

Salary and Location

This finance leadership position offers a competitive salary of up to AED 18,000 per month. The role is based in Ajman, United Arab Emirates.
