Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing robust methods and systems to analyze complex and diverse big data sets. The objective is to extract actionable insights that enhance client services and drive product innovation.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Data Scientist will lead the creation and deployment of advanced analytical models, leveraging extensive experience in machine learning and statistical techniques. Responsibilities include consolidating unstructured data, developing predictive algorithms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate data findings into business strategies. This role also requires preparing detailed reports and clearly communicating results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical thinking coupled with excellent problem-solving capabilities
• Expertise in planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects effectively
• Advanced report writing and communication skills to convey complex information clearly
• Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and programming languages such as Python or R
• Deep knowledge in areas like supervised and unsupervised learning, explainable AI, deep learning, NLP, time series forecasting, and optimization techniques

Requirements

• Master’s degree in quantitative fields including statistics, mathematics, econometrics, economics, physics, or related disciplines
• At least eight years of professional experience applying data mining, machine learning, or optimization techniques to solve business challenges
• Demonstrated expertise in one or more data science domains such as causal inference, uplift modeling, deployment strategies, or decision science
