Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join a prominent government entity in Abu Dhabi. This full-time position is ideal for candidates with a solid IT support background, particularly those experienced with ServiceNow platforms. Preference will be given to Emirati/UAE nationals and Arabic speakers, although qualified candidates from all backgrounds are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will provide comprehensive technical support to end-users, addressing issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity. You will manage incidents and service requests via ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, collaborating closely with senior specialists and project managers to resolve more complex challenges. Additionally, you will document troubleshooting procedures, maintain the team’s knowledge base, assist with system upgrades, and support the rollout of new technologies. Creating user-friendly training materials to help end-users resolve common technical problems will also be part of your duties. Throughout all activities, you will ensure compliance with ADEO’s governance and reporting standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Digital Operations, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT support or special support roles
• Practical knowledge of ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM tools
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities across hardware, software, and network domains
• Proficiency in Arabic is preferred; however, non-Arabic speakers with strong skills will be considered
• Experience working within government agencies or large enterprises is a significant advantage
• Excellent documentation and adherence to compliance frameworks
• Ability to join within a maximum notice period of 30 days
