Our client, a leading construction and contracting company based in Abu Dhabi, is urgently seeking a dedicated HR Assistant and Administrative Coordinator to join their dynamic HR team. This role involves supporting HR operations and ensuring smooth administrative processes within a fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling various HR functions such as screening resumes, posting job vacancies, and conducting candidate outreach. Additionally, they will coordinate with vendors and suppliers and assist with documentation relevant to the construction sector. Strong communication and organizational skills will be essential for managing these day-to-day activities efficiently.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Between 2 to 4 years of overall professional experience.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on HR experience within the UAE, preferably in construction or contracting companies.
  • Familiarity with basic HR procedures including CV screening, candidate probing, and job advertising.
  • Good command of English communication and confident cold calling abilities.
  • Experience coordinating with vendors and suppliers.
  • Basic understanding of UAE Labour Law is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and AI tools to support daily HR and administrative tasks.
  • Any prior exposure to HR documentation management in the construction industry will be advantageous.
