Job Overview

FIBREX Construction Group, a trusted name in the industry since 1972, is looking to strengthen its team with an experienced Sustainability Engineer. This role is focused on supporting our active and upcoming projects across Abu Dhabi and Dubai, ensuring sustainable practices are embedded throughout the construction phases.

Key Responsibilities

The Sustainability Engineer will be responsible for implementing ESTIDAMA and LEED rating system requirements during the construction stage. This includes managing material submittal reviews, preparing and submitting documentation required at various construction phases, and monitoring compliance with sustainability standards on multiple project sites simultaneously.

Required Skills and Experience

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in sustainability roles within construction projects.
• Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with ESTIDAMA and LEED certification processes and requirements.
• Familiarity with material submittal reviews and construction stage documentation submissions.
• Ability to handle site activities and coordinate across multiple projects efficiently.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil, Architectural, or Mechanical Engineering, with MoFA attestation.
• Professional certifications such as LEED AP and Estidama PQP are essential.
• Experience with Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventories, preferably within the construction sector.
• Current residence in the UAE is required.
