Job Overview

New Smart Office Automation LLC (NSOA) is currently seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role focuses on providing expert service and maintenance for office automation equipment, including multifunction printers (MFPs), copiers, and printers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with troubleshooting, repairs, and customer support within the office automation industry.

Key Responsibilities

The Service Engineer will be responsible for responding promptly to customer service calls, ensuring timely diagnosis and repair of office imaging devices. Key duties include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing preventive maintenance, and carrying out firmware upgrades. The role involves configuring network printing and scanning solutions and managing spare parts inventory to support service deliveries. Additionally, the engineer will offer technical guidance and basic training to users, identify opportunities for consumable sales and equipment upgrades, and compile detailed service reports to maintain strong customer relationships.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates should possess a Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in servicing office automation products, such as MFPs and copiers, is essential. Strong troubleshooting abilities and networking knowledge are necessary to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach are key to delivering outstanding service. Holding a valid UAE driving license is preferred to facilitate onsite service calls.

Preferred Brands Experience

Experience working with leading office automation equipment brands like Sharp, Canon, Konica Minolta, Ricoh, Xerox, HP, or Kyocera is highly valued. Familiarity with these manufacturers’ products will help in providing high-quality service and maintenance support.
