We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor specializing in civil engineering projects to join a reputable construction firm based in Abu Dhabi. This key position demands an expert with a strong background in quantity surveying, cost control, and contract management within the UAE construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading commercial activities such as accurate quantity take-offs, detailed cost estimation, and preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ). Managing contractual matters including variations, progress claims, subcontract agreements, and final accounts will be a critical part of your role to minimize financial risks.

You will work closely with project stakeholders—Project Managers, Clients, Consultants, and Subcontractors—to ensure projects remain within budget while maintaining profitability. Implementing effective cost control measures and delivering precise financial forecasts for ongoing projects fall under your remit.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Professional certification such as RICS or its equivalent is highly desirable. Candidates should have at least 10 years of proven experience in the UAE construction industry, particularly in civil infrastructure or major building projects.

Advanced knowledge of PlanSwift and AutoCAD software is essential. The position requires immediate availability; therefore, candidates on cancelled visas, visit visas, or those with minimal notice periods will be given priority.
