Job Overview

We are seeking experienced professionals for two vital engineering roles based in Abu Dhabi: QA/QC Engineer and MEP Inspector. Both positions require a strong background in construction supervision and quality assurance, with a focus on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems. The ideal candidates will be well-versed in UAE regulations and international engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

As an MEP Inspector, you will be responsible for monitoring and inspecting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and authority requirements. Duties include reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests, as well as coordinating with site teams to maintain quality and safety standards.

For the QA/QC Engineer role, your main tasks will involve overseeing quality management processes, conducting inspections and audits, and ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 and project-specific quality systems. You will be reviewing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, work inspection requests (WIRs), material inspection requests (MIRs), non-conformance reports (NCRs), and other quality documentation. Strong analytical skills will be crucial to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering for MEP Inspector; Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering for QA/QC Engineer.
• Between 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in construction supervision or QA/QC in engineering consultancy or construction sectors.
• Good understanding of UAE authority standards, local codes, and international engineering guidelines.
• Experience in inspecting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems (for MEP Inspector).
• Familiarity with quality management systems, specifically ISO 9001 standards (for QA/QC Engineer).
• Proficient in reviewing technical documentation like shop drawings, method statements, inspection requests, and quality reports.
• Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills crucial to liaising with multiple stakeholders.
