China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation (CPECC) is urgently seeking a highly skilled Welding Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in the oil and gas industry, specifically in welding engineering. Candidates must hold relevant certifications and approvals to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Welding Engineer will be responsible for overseeing welding operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and optimizing welding processes in oil and gas projects. This includes managing welding procedures, conducting inspections, and providing technical guidance to field teams to guarantee safe and effective welding practices.

Required Qualifications and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Minimum of 12 years of hands-on experience in the oil and gas sector.
• Proven expertise in welding technology and related applications.
• International Welding Engineer (IWE) certification is mandatory.
• Certified Welding Educator (CWE) certification is required.
• ASNT Level II certification in Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT).
• Approval from ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) is essential for consideration.
