Job Overview

Shining Star International School (SSIS) in Abu Dhabi is looking to welcome a skilled and passionate Science Teacher to join our educational team right away. We seek an individual dedicated to fostering a dynamic learning environment and enhancing students’ understanding and love of science, particularly biology.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging science lessons that align with curriculum standards. This includes developing lesson plans, conducting classroom assessments, managing student behavior, and encouraging scientific inquiry among middle school students.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Science with a B.Ed or a Master’s degree in Science is mandatory.
• Minimum of two years teaching experience in a school setting, preferably with a focus on Biology.
• Strong grasp of scientific concepts and effective classroom management techniques.
• Educational certificate equivalency and Teaching License System (TLS) certification are preferred to facilitate immediate onboarding.

Additional Requirements

Applicants must be currently located in the UAE and available to join immediately to meet the school’s urgent staffing needs.
