China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC UAE) is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Abu Dhabi. Key Responsibilities
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), analyzing Contract Variation Records (CVR), and conducting progress valuations. Collaborating closely with project managers and engineers, the role demands accurate financial tracking and reporting to ensure project budgets are maintained efficiently.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in UAE or GCC construction projects
- Strong expertise in interpreting and applying FIDIC contract conditions
- Proficiency in using cost management software such as CostX and PlanSwift
- Ability to work with AutoCAD and advanced Excel functions for detailed quantity and cost analysis
