Job Overview

China Harbour Engineering Company LLC (CHEC) is seeking a skilled Civil / Marine Engineer with a valid DMT License to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role requires overseeing complex marine and civil infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will supervise civil and marine construction operations, ensuring they align with approved drawings and project specifications. The role includes managing marine infrastructure works such as dredging, breakwaters, and coastal protection. Responsibilities extend to reviewing engineering drawings, technical submissions, method statements, and construction documentation. Additionally, coordination with consultants, subcontractors, project teams, and relevant government agencies is essential. Monitoring project progress, enforcing quality standards, adhering to UAE regulations, conducting site inspections, and resolving technical challenges are vital to achieving timely project completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in civil, marine, or infrastructure construction projects.
• Possession of a valid DMT Civil Engineer License is mandatory.
• Proven expertise in marine construction, including dredging, coastal protection, and breakwater projects.
• Strong understanding of UAE construction standards, engineering specifications, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent technical knowledge alongside effective coordination and problem-solving capabilities.
• Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in the UAE and available for immediate joining.
