Job Overview

Datum General Contracting LLC is looking for a dedicated Construction Manager to lead site operations in Abu Dhabi. This role requires managing construction projects from initiation through to handover, ensuring that all work aligns with timelines, budgets, and quality standards while adhering to UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The Construction Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing project execution on site. This includes collaborating closely with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain smooth workflow and compliance with approved drawings and contracts. Monitoring resource allocation, manpower deployment, equipment use, and progress tracking are vital components of this position.

Maintaining safety protocols, quality benchmarks, and environmental regulations on site is essential. The role also involves reviewing method statements, construction schedules, and work programs, tackling site challenges proactively to prevent delays, and managing inspections and approvals leading to successful project handovers. Regular reporting on progress to management completes the responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is essential.
• Between 6 to 8 years of construction experience within the UAE, with a preference for Abu Dhabi projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of Abu Dhabi authority regulations and construction standards.
• Strong leadership and site management capabilities with excellent coordination skills.
• Effective communication and detailed reporting skills.
• Immediate availability for joining is a must.
