Job Overview

RQG and Hansan Contracting is seeking a skilled Foreman with a minimum of five years’ experience in building construction to join their team in Abu Dhabi. This role requires strong site supervision abilities, technical expertise, and effective manpower management to support construction projects efficiently. Candidates must be Indian or Pakistani nationals.

Key Responsibilities

The Foreman will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth on-site operations. Responsibilities include supervising laborers, masons, carpenters, and subcontractors, as well as interpreting construction drawings, technical specs, and method statements. Monitoring daily progress against schedules and reporting any setbacks to the Project Manager is essential.

Additionally, the Foreman is expected to uphold strict quality control and safety standards, conduct daily toolbox talks, coordinate materials and equipment deliveries, and maintain accurate daily reports including work logs and manpower attendance. Overseeing essential tasks such as formwork, reinforcement, concrete pouring, blockwork, plastering, and finishing will also be integral to the position.

Requirements

• At least five years experience as a Foreman in building construction projects
• Proficient in reading and executing construction drawings
• Strong ability to lead site teams and liaise effectively with engineers and subcontractors
• Solid knowledge of safety protocols, quality assurance practices, and daily construction reporting
• Experience working in the UAE or GCC region is highly desirable
• Indian or Pakistani nationality only
