VORTEXEN is urgently seeking a skilled Civil and MEP Estimator to join their team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations for civil and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with estimation tools and possess a thorough understanding of the UAE construction industry. Immediate availability is essential, and applicants must have visa sponsorship through relatives or family.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for meticulous quantity takeoffs, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and conducting detailed cost estimations. They will analyze rates and participate in tendering processes, ensuring precise pricing based on project drawings and specifications. Utilization of advanced software tools will support efficient and accurate estimation workflows.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Proven experience in civil and MEP estimation within the construction sector
• Proficiency in PlanSwift and AutoCAD for quantity measurement and drawing interpretation
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and detailed cost analysis
• Capability to perform rate analysis and develop competitive tender submissions
• Familiarity with AI tools to enhance the speed and accuracy of estimations
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings with precision
• Experience working in the UAE construction market is highly preferred
