Sebo is looking for a skilled Collection Officer to join its team in Abu Dhabi. This full-time role is ideal for candidates with 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable and collections. The successful candidate will handle invoice preparation, manage customer payments, and ensure efficient collection of outstanding balances to support the company’s financial health.

Key Responsibilities

The Collection Officer will be responsible for preparing and submitting invoices, following up on outstanding payments through calls, emails, and site visits. Maintaining accurate records of collections, outstanding payments, and customer communications is essential. The role includes preparing detailed collection reports for management, coordinating with sales and finance teams to resolve payment issues, and addressing billing discrepancies promptly and professionally.

Additionally, the officer will ensure that collections align with agreed-upon credit terms and support month-end and year-end financial closing processes. Continuous improvement of collection procedures to optimize cash flow will also be part of the responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in collection or accounts receivable roles
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for customer follow-up
• Ability to maintain detailed and organized records
• Proficiency in preparing collection reports and handling billing discrepancies
• Familiarity with credit terms and ethical collection practices
