Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Well Test Operator (WT Operator) to join our team in Muscat, Oman. This position is exclusive to Omani nationals and focuses on supporting oilfield well testing operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in equipment setup, pressure testing, data acquisition, and maintenance while maintaining rigorous adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Well Test Operator will be responsible for:

• Setting up and operating well testing equipment effectively
• Conducting pressure tests and monitoring the performance of wells
• Managing and handling Data Acquisition Systems (DAS)
• Maintaining equipment to ensure optimal operation and reliability
• Complying strictly with HSE guidelines and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in oilfield operations or well testing services
• Mandatory valid IWCF (International Well Control Forum) Certification
• Strong understanding of well testing equipment and pressure control systems
• Ability to work under pressure and manage complex technical operations safely
