Business Development Engineer – Industrial Shutdown & Maintenance Services

Location: Eastern Province (Jubail / Dammam / Yanbu Travel Required)

Reports To: General Manager

???? Role PurposeJ

To generate new revenue opportunities in industrial plants (refineries, petrochemical, power, mining), secure shutdown and maintenance contracts, manage client relationships, and expand company presence in the Saudi industrial sector.

The role focuses on:

• Chemical Cleaning & DecontaminationArabs & Middle Easterners

• Lube oil flushing

• Flange facing

• Bolt torquing & tensioning

• Heat exchanger retubing

Target clients include companies such as:

• Saudi Aramco

SABICSaudi market insights

• Ma’aden

• SEC

• Major EPC contractors

???? Key Responsibilities

1?? Business Development

• Identify upcoming shutdowns and maintenance projects

• Maintain active visit schedule to plants and EPC contractors

• Generate RFQs and bidding opportunities

• Develop new client relationships

• Maintain CRM and opportunity tracking

?

2?? Tender & Proposal Coordination

• Review ITB/RFQ documents

• Coordinate with technical team for costing

• Prepare commercial & technical submissions

• Clarify scope with client before submission

• Participate in technical meetings

?

3?? Client Relationship Management

• Build relationships with:

• Maintenance managers

• Shutdown planners

• Mechanical supervisors

• Procurement managers

• Conduct regular plant visits

• Attend shutdown planning meetings

?

4?? Market Intelligence

• Gather competitor pricing trends

• Identify upcoming projects 6–12 months in advance

• Report market changes and opportunities

• Provide feedback on service demand trends

?

5?? Vendor Registration & Prequalification

• Initiate vendor registration processes

• Maintain client compliance documentation

• Coordinate for approvals and certifications
