We’re Hiring: Electrical Site Manager-Substation Projects (SEC Approved)

Location: Madinah, Saudi Arabia

Danway Saudi Arabia Contracting Company is urgently looking for an experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead SEC substation construction & commissioning projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

– Minimum 10-15 years of hands-on experience in construction management, with at least 5 years high-voltage substation construction (380kV, 132kV, 110kV preferred)

– Proven track record in managing site activities, subcontractors, and technical teams for high-voltage substation works.

Strong leadership, stakeholder coordination (SEC representatives, consultants, subcontractors), problem-solving and decision-making skills

– Experience in coordinating with clients, consultants, and authorities

– Familiarity with safety standards, quality control protocols, and project documentation specific to substation environment.

– Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects within budget, scope, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full site execution of SEC highvoltage substation projects (GIS & AIS, 380kV/132kV/33kV) from mobilization through testing, precommissioning, energization, and final handover.

• Lead and supervise site teams including electrical engineers, testing and commissioning staff, foremen, subcontractors, and direct manpower, ensuring effective resolution of QA/QC and HSE issues.

• Oversee the complete electrical scope, including GIS erection, transformer and reactor installation, HV/MV cabling, busbars, earthing and lightning protection, control and relay panels, protection schemes, and SAS/telecommunication integration.

Ensure timely and costeffective execution by optimizing resources, monitoring daily/weekly progress, preparing 3week lookahead schedules, resource histograms, and material tracking reports.

• Coordinate interfaces with civil, MEP, and testing agencies to maintain clashfree execution.

• Enforce strict HSE compliance through toolbox talks, PTW management, risk assessments, incident reporting, and LOTO procedures.

• Manage SEC inspector walkthroughs, material inspections, FAT/SAT witness testing, punchlist closure, and final acceptance documentation.

• Attend progress meetings, coordinate schedules with subcontractors, and review progress invoices.

• Participate in risk assessments, constructability reviews, and valueengineering workshops.

• Oversee daily site operations, workforce attendance, and compliance with company procedures, ensuring all works meet contract specifications and safety standards.
