Electrical Engineer (Technical & Operations)

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Experience: Minimum 10+ Years

(Immediate Joiners Preferred)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to lead both technical design and operational execution of electrical systems for large-scale infrastructure projects. The role requires strong expertise in power systems, site execution, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead electrical engineering activities covering design, execution, and operations

Review and approve electrical drawings, load calculations, and system studies

Oversee installation of power distribution systems, substations, transformers, switchgear, and lighting systems

Manage testing, commissioning, and energization of electrical systems

Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and international codes

Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and project teams for smooth project delivery

Monitor site progress, quality, and adherence to project timelines

Troubleshoot electrical issues and optimize system performance

Support operations and maintenance (O&M) activities post-installation

Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

Minimum 10+ years of experience in infrastructure / construction projects

Strong knowledge of power distribution, substations, LV/MV systems, and electrical equipment

Familiarity with international standards such as IEC, IEEE

Experience in site execution, testing & commissioning, and operations

GCC experience is preferred

Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills

Mandatory Criteria:

Valid Iqama

All educational and experience documents must be available

Preferred Skills:

Experience in large-scale or mega infrastructure projects

Knowledge of SCADA, BMS, and automation systems

Ability to manage both technical and operational responsibilities
