Job Overview

We are urgently seeking qualified Safety Officers to join a construction project based in Qatar. This role requires a skilled professional with a strong background in workplace health and safety, particularly in the construction industry, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a secure working environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety protocols on-site. This includes conducting risk assessments, ensuring adherence to safety legislation, carrying out routine inspections, and providing safety training to the workforce. Collaborating closely with project management and other stakeholders to address potential hazards is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A NEBOSH certification with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience post-certification.
• At least 3 years of experience working within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, preferably Qatar.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of current health and safety standards and practices specific to the construction sector.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Valid Qatar ID (QID) is mandatory for consideration.

Project Details and Work Duration

This opportunity is for a construction project with an anticipated duration of 1 year. The position requires immediate availability to join the team and begin contributing to maintaining a safe workplace from the start.
