Bin Harmal Group is seeking a qualified HSE Officer to join their team in Al Ain, UAE. This role is essential in ensuring safety compliance and fostering a secure work environment on road infrastructure projects within the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and practical experience in health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

The HSE Officer will play a critical role in maintaining high safety standards. Responsibilities include conducting frequent site inspections to identify and mitigate hazards, preparing detailed risk assessments and safety reports, and delivering toolbox talks to educate teams on safety best practices. The role also involves investigating incidents to determine root causes and recommending appropriate corrective measures to avoid recurrence. Ensuring full compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies forms a core part of the position.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
• Thorough knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and standards applicable to infrastructure projects.
• Experienced in conducting site inspections, risk assessments, and safety trainings.
• Strong communication skills for effective reporting and safety awareness presentations.

Work Environment

This position is based in Al Ain and involves working on-site at various road infrastructure project locations. The role demands a proactive approach to safety in dynamic and sometimes challenging outdoor environments, emphasizing teamwork and strict adherence to safety protocols.
