Job Overview

Sinopec is currently looking for a qualified HSE Manager to join their team working on a prestigious Aramco Oil & Gas project in Saudi Arabia. This role requires a seasoned safety professional to lead health, safety, and environmental efforts on site, ensuring compliance with rigorous industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive HSE management systems and procedures tailored for the project environment. You will oversee site safety operations, direct and supervise the HSE team, and act as the primary liaison on safety matters with Aramco personnel and subcontractors. Regular risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations must be conducted promptly to maintain a safe work environment. Additionally, organizing HSE training sessions and continuously promoting safety awareness among all site personnel will be a critical part of your role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• At least 10 years of hands-on HSE experience, ideally within oil and gas construction projects aligned with Aramco standards.
• Strong familiarity with Saudi Arabian safety regulations and Aramco’s specific HSE requirements.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent credentials are highly preferred.
• Proven leadership capabilities with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage safety practices at remote and challenging project locations.

Work Environment

This position entails working on an active oil and gas construction site under Aramco’s jurisdiction, demanding a proactive approach to safety in a fast-paced, potentially remote environment.
