Job Overview

Laffan Technical Service is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to join a long-term project based in the Mesaieed Industrial City (MIC), Qatar. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in the oil and gas sector to ensure a safe working environment throughout the project’s duration.

Key Responsibilities

The HSE Officer will be responsible for overseeing and implementing all health and safety measures on site. Duties include monitoring compliance with safety regulations, conducting workplace inspections, advising on best practices, and working closely with the project team to minimize risks and promote a culture of safety.

Required Skills and Certifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience within the Oil & Gas industry, focusing on health and safety.
• Mandatory QE (Qatar Energy) Approval to work on-site.
• Possession of all relevant HSE certifications aligned with industry standards.
• Strong knowledge of local safety laws and international HSE protocols.
• Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations effectively.

Work Schedule and Conditions

This position involves working 10 hours per day for 6 days each week on-site in MIC, Qatar. Candidates holding freelance visas are encouraged to apply, and immediate joiners or those with limited notice periods will be prioritized during the selection process.
