Fornax Global Contracting | W.L.L is seeking a dedicated Safety Officer with over 6 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, specifically within Mesaaid projects in Qatar. This role involves ensuring strict adherence to safety standards and protocols to maintain a secure working environment on-site.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety procedures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring all activities comply with local and international safety regulations. This position requires active supervision during the 12-hour duty shifts to identify potential hazards and enforce corrective measures promptly.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience working as a Safety Officer in Oil and Gas projects, particularly in Mesaaid, Qatar.
• In-depth knowledge of Qatar’s safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Strong ability to conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with contractors and site teams.
• Prior experience handling safety compliance in large-scale industrial projects is preferred.

Work Environment and Schedule

This position requires a 12-hour shift commitment. Candidates must be locally available in Qatar and ready to engage in on-site safety management, often in demanding environments associated with oil and gas operations.
