Job Overview

We are urgently seeking qualified Safety Officers with expertise in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) for a long-term infrastructure project with Ashghal, located in Al Rayyan, Qatar. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who have accumulated significant experience in road and infrastructure projects and are looking to contribute their skills to a reputable and large-scale project.

Key Responsibilities

The appointed Safety Officers will be responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols are strictly followed on site. They will oversee risk assessments, enforce compliance with safety regulations, and work closely with project teams to maintain a secure working environment. The role involves regular site inspections, incident reporting, and promoting health and safety awareness among workers and subcontractors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in roads or infrastructure project environments
• Experience working within GCC countries is highly preferred
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory
• IOSH certification is required
• Possession of a degree attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in Qatar is essential
