Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Safety Officer to join a leading construction company in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices, particularly within the construction industry. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting site inspections, and promoting a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE procedures across construction sites to maintain a safe and compliant workplace
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and site inspections to identify potential hazards
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of safety performance
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure safety regulations are adhered to during all phases of construction
• Advise management on health and safety best practices and necessary improvements

Required Skills and Qualifications

• NEBOSH certification or an equivalent health and safety qualification
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in construction site safety and HSE management
• Strong understanding of HSE procedures, risk assessments, and compliance standards
• Proven ability to conduct site inspections and compile comprehensive incident reports
• Must have legal eligibility to work in Bahrain
