Job Overview

We are seeking 50 qualified HSE Officers to join a major Oil & Gas project in Mesaieed, Qatar. This role requires a highly skilled professional with proven experience in health, safety, and environmental management, specifically within the Oil & Gas sector. The contract is initially for one year with the possibility of extension. Candidates will work 10 hours a day, six days a week, maintaining the highest safety standards on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE procedures and policies adhering to Qatar Energy’s standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure strict compliance with safety regulations.
• Manage the Permit to Work (PTW) system to guarantee safe operations.
• Provide onsite HSE guidance and support to project teams during shifts.
• Carry out regular safety audits and report findings promptly to management.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement among all personnel.

Requirements

• NEBOSH IGC Level 1, 2, and 3 certification is mandatory.
• IOSH certification required.
• Diploma or Graduate degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in HSE roles with at least 5 years in the Oil & Gas industry.
• At least 3 years of HSE experience within Qatar is mandatory; the remaining 2 years can be from any GCC country.
• Proven knowledge of health and safety procedures, risk assessment techniques, and regulatory compliance.
• Qatar Energy (QE) approval is mandatory for all applicants.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and in challenging site-based environments.
