AVEVA E3D Piping Class and CAD Operators
SCOPE OF SERVICES (ARAMCO Experience)

Qualified AVEVA E3D Specification Writers who will work at the CONTRACTOR’s offices and perform specification feeding and catalogue development activities under the CONTRACTOR’s supervision.
• Develop and build E3D piping specifications and catalogues in accordance with project Piping Material Specifications (PMS) and support standards issued by the CONTRACTOR.
• Populate catalogue entries for components including pipes, fittings, valves, supports, specialty items (SPL/SP), bolts, gaskets, and instrumentation items, with correct dimensions, physical properties, and metadata (material grades, weights, pressure ratings).
• Ensure correct geometry, P-point (connection point) definitions, and connectivity intelligence (Arrive/Leave attributes) to support logical branch connectivity in E3D.
• Perform placement checking / routing tests in E3D Design module to verify component picking and branch connection behavior.
• Run standard diagnostic checks and data consistency reports to identify and resolve errors in fed specifications.
• Support 3D model review milestones (e.g., 30%, 60%, 90%) by addressing specification-related comments and corrections as instructed by the CONTRACTOR.
• Document and flag any Out-of-Spec items or manual overrides for CONTRACTOR review and approval.
• For non-metallic components (e.g., FRP/PVC), define dimensions and properties according to COMPANY RVL-approved vendor catalogues and document the vendor reference used.
• Configure specialty/support/instrument items and instrument items as parametric components where required, including design parameters (e.g., PARA 1, PARA 2) to allow dimensional input at model level.
• For items with vendor not finalized, enable entry of description and part number attributes at component level to support Iso / piping plan / MTO generation
