Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a qualified HSE / Safety Officer to join a short-term project based in Qatar. This role is pivotal in ensuring workplace safety standards comply with local regulations and organizational policies. The ideal candidate must be proactive, detail-oriented, and immediately available to contribute to a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and enforce corrective measures.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar’s health and safety laws and Kahramaa standards.
• Collaborate with the project team to promote a culture of safety awareness among all workers.
• Prepare detailed safety reports and maintain accurate records for audits and compliance purposes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Kahramaa approval is mandatory.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) certification is required.
• Possession of a valid Qatar ID (QID).
• Having a Qatar driving license will be considered an advantage.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage safety procedures effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond swiftly to safety concerns.
