Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced HSE Officer specialized in documentation to join our team in Qatar. This role is ideal for candidates with a solid background in occupational health and safety within the onshore oil and gas sector. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining and managing all critical HSE records and reports, supporting safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
The HSE Officer will be responsible for maintaining thorough control over safety documentation including audits, permits, and other compliance records. Additionally, you will assist with safety inspections, investigations, and monitoring to ensure that workplace safety standards are consistently met and improved.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline.
- Proven experience of 5 to 7 years working in Health, Safety, and Environment roles, specifically within the onshore oil and gas industry.
- NEBOSH or OSHA certification is highly preferred, underlining your expertise and commitment to safety standards.
- Strong skills in documentation and reporting to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
- Excellent communication abilities coupled with analytical skills to interpret safety data and provide actionable insights.
- Availability to join immediately is essential for this position.
Work Environment
This position is based in Qatar and requires hands-on experience within onshore oil and gas environments. Candidates must be prepared to meet the demanding safety expectations inherent in such sectors.
