Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Accountant with extensive experience in bookkeeping, financial data analysis, and proficiency in Zoho Books. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting activities, ensuring tax compliance with Saudi regulations, and delivering detailed financial reports using advanced Excel techniques. This role is based in Riyadh and offers a monthly salary of 5,000 SAR.

Key Responsibilities

The accountant will handle a range of functions including:

• Processing daily transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, inventory costing, and maintaining ledgers within Zoho Books.
• Utilizing Advanced Excel features like Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and custom formulas to clean and analyze data for financial reporting and cash flow monitoring.
• Conducting monthly reconciliations across bank accounts, payment gateways, merchant balances, and vendor statements.
• Preparing VAT returns and ensuring full compliance with Saudi ZATCA’s e-invoicing and tax regulations.
• Organizing and maintaining digital audit trails and financial documentation to support month-end and year-end audits.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of accounting experience within Saudi Arabia.
• Proven expertise in Zoho Books, including setup, workflow management, inventory control, and automated reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for detailed financial data manipulation and variance analysis.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Saudi tax laws, ZATCA e-invoicing phases, and adherence to Saudi SOCPA and IFRS standards.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Proficiency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a plus.
