Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a skilled Safety Supervisor to oversee health and safety operations at an electrical substation project located in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This position offers a rental-based employment opportunity within an ambitious project involving 132kV and 33kV electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Supervisor will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment. Key duties include managing permit to work (PTW) systems, conducting job safety analyses (JSA) and hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA), enforcing lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and leading regular toolbox talks. Additionally, the role involves overseeing safety aspects related to lifting operations, scaffolding, and electrical work.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in HSE or safety roles, preferably within electrical or construction projects.
• Mandatory NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC).
• Certifications in IOSH or OSHA are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with substation projects, specifically 132kV and 33kV systems, is a strong advantage.
• Proficient knowledge of PTW, JSA/HIRA, risk assessment, LOTO, and toolbox talks.
• Understanding of lifting, scaffolding, and electrical safety procedures.
• Effective communication skills and ability to produce comprehensive reports.
• Experience with non-Aramco projects; Aramco approval is not required for this role.
• Prior experience with SEC projects is considered a plus.
• Immediate availability will be preferred.

Employment Details
