We are seeking a qualified Safety Officer to join a long-term infrastructure project in Qatar. This urgent opening is ideal for candidates with prior experience in road and infrastructure safety, particularly with Infraroad or Ashghal related projects. The role demands a proactive safety professional committed to maintaining high standards of workplace safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing safety procedures on-site, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to local safety regulations and company policies. This includes regular inspections, reporting incidents, and fostering a culture of safety awareness among all project personnel.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory.
• Proven experience working on infrastructure projects, preferably with Infraroad or Ashghal.
• Ability to manage safety compliance over 10-hour shifts.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Experience letter confirming relevant work history.

Work Schedule and Environment

This position requires working 10-hour shifts to effectively oversee safety operations throughout the project duration. The work environment is typically construction site-based in Qatar, demanding vigilance and strict adherence to safety protocols.
