We are urgently seeking a highly qualified HSE Manager to join a leading Oil & Gas and Construction project in Qatar. This role demands a seasoned professional with strong expertise in health, safety, and environmental management, particularly in large-scale construction environments. The ideal candidate will bring extensive leadership experience and a proven track record of managing complex subcontractor teams on site.

Key Responsibilities

The HSE Manager will be accountable for overseeing all health, safety, and environmental activities on the construction site. This includes conducting risk assessments, managing permit-to-work (PTW) controls, performing regular field inspections, and ensuring adherence to strict safety protocols to prevent incidents. You will lead and coordinate the subcontractor HSE teams to maintain high standards of safety compliance while driving proactive corrective actions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in HSE roles with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory.
• Solid track record managing health and safety on construction sites, ideally within Oil & Gas sectors.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience managing subcontractor HSE teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of risk assessments, incident prevention techniques, PTW systems, and safety reporting.
• Proven experience with QatarEnergy or Ras Laffan Oil & Gas projects is highly desirable.
• Excellent English communication skills for effective coordination and reporting.
