Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a qualified HSE Coordinator to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extension based on project needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in health, safety, and environmental management within civil building construction, particularly in the Gulf region.

Key Responsibilities

The HSE Coordinator will be responsible for implementing and overseeing effective environmental, health, and safety protocols on site. Duties include conducting regular safety audits, leading incident investigations, ensuring compliance with established HSE systems, and maintaining thorough documentation related to emergency procedures and safety standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institution, with a minimum three-year course duration.
• Possession of NEBOSH IGC (issued on or before 2022), IOSH, and OSHA certifications is mandatory.
• A minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience in HSE roles, including at least 3 years working as an HSE Coordinator in the Gulf region, specifically within civil building construction projects.
• Strong expertise in EHS management systems, audit processes, and incident handling.
• Excellent knowledge of HSE documentation and emergency response plans.
• Current residence in Qatar with immediate availability to join upon selection.
