Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated HSE Officer to join a long-term oil and gas project based in Qatar. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards while fostering a proactive safety culture throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

The HSE Officer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining comprehensive safety procedures, conducting regular inspections, and carrying out risk assessments to minimize hazards. Promoting safety awareness through toolbox talks and briefings will be essential to drive compliance and safeguard all personnel involved in project activities.

Required Skills and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 8 years of experience within the oil and gas sector
• At least 5 years of mandatory experience working in the GCC region
• Strong expertise in safety inspections, risk assessment, and incident investigation
• In-depth knowledge of HSE laws and regulations applicable to oil and gas projects
• Proven ability to conduct effective safety briefings and toolbox talks
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across multiple teams
