Job Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified Safety Officer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for extension, ideal for professionals with extensive experience in health and safety within civil building construction. The role requires an immediate start and is offered through LANCO HR.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining effective Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) systems on construction sites. Key duties include conducting audits, leading incident investigations, and overseeing emergency preparedness to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering (minimum three-year course)
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) issued in 2022 or earlier
• Certifications in IOSH and OSHA
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the Gulf region, specifically within civil building construction
• Strong knowledge of EHS systems, audits, incident management, and emergency procedures
• Currently residing in Qatar and available for immediate joining
