Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Cost Control Manager to join our team for a major housing and villa development project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for professionals specializing in residential construction cost management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects related to project costs, ensuring that budgets are strictly monitored and managed to support overall project success.

Key Responsibilities

The Cost Control Manager will play a crucial role in managing and controlling the project’s financial performance. Key duties include:

• Overseeing the project cost control system and managing the overall budget
• Tracking actual expenditures, commitments, accruals, forecasts, and identifying cost variances
• Preparing comprehensive monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and management summaries such as EAC (Estimate at Completion) and ETC (Estimate to Complete)
• Analyzing cost performance against budgets and flagging any potential overruns promptly
• Collaborating closely with Quantity Surveying, Commercial, Planning, Procurement, Finance, and Construction teams to ensure cohesive cost management
• Reviewing and assessing financial impacts of variations, change orders, claims, and additional work scopes
• Monitoring costs, commitments, and payment applications related to subcontractors and suppliers
• Supporting cost-saving measures including value engineering and other optimization strategies
• Ensuring accurate cost coding, detailed reporting, forecasting, and maintaining precise financial records related to the project

Requirements

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Controls, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction cost controlling, with at least 5 years in a senior or managerial capacity
• Extensive experience specifically in housing, villa, and residential projects
• Prior experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is highly preferred
• Immediate availability to join and participate in a face-to-face interview
• Strong analytical abilities coupled with excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with proven experience in large-scale residential developments, including villa compounds, townhouse projects, or multi-building housing complexes in Saudi Arabia, will be given preference.

Compensation and Application Process

The salary package for this role ranges between SAR 16,000 and SAR 20,000, offering a competitive full package.
