A well-established company based in Dubai is looking to hire a seasoned HSE Engineer to oversee health, safety, and environmental practices on a high-rise MEP construction project in Abu Dhabi. This role demands extensive experience in implementing HSE systems, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with UAE safety regulations within the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

The HSE Engineer will be responsible for leading and managing all safety-related aspects on site. This includes carrying out routine HSE inspections, maintaining thorough documentation, and ensuring adherence to ISO 45001 standards. The role also involves training employees in multiple languages to promote a safety-first culture and leading a team to manage daily safety operations independently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental roles, preferably relating to MEP projects.
• Relevant HSE certifications including NEBOSH Level 6 or 7.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and industry safety standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Certified in ISO 45001 implementation and compliance.
• Proven ability to conduct safety training sessions in various languages effectively.
• Excellent leadership skills with the capability to work independently or guide a team.
